Behind the Scenes: How HansiTech Builds a Website (Step-by-Step Process)

Most businesses have never hired a web agency before and don't know what to expect. The process can feel like a black box — you hand over money and hope something good comes out the other end. We don't work that way. Here's exactly what happens from your first contact to the day your site goes live.


Step 1: Free Discovery Call (30 minutes)

Everything starts with a conversation. We want to understand your business, your goals, your customers, and what success looks like to you. We'll also look at your current online presence (or lack of it) and get a clear picture of what your competitors are doing.

By the end of this call, you'll have a clear recommendation from us — which package fits your needs, what we'll build, and what it will cost. No ambiguity, no hidden fees.

Step 2: Content Brief and Onboarding

Once you're ready to proceed, we send you a simple content brief: a short document outlining exactly what we need from you. Typically:

  • Your logo file (or we start the branding process)
  • 10–20 photos of your work, team, or location
  • A paragraph about each service you offer
  • Your business details: phone, email, address, hours
  • 2–3 competitor or inspiration sites you like

We can also write copy for your site if needed — just let us know during the call.

Step 3: Design and Build

Once we have your content, we design and build your site. We don't use generic templates — every site is custom-built in Next.js, optimized for speed, mobile, and SEO from the ground up.

During this phase, you're not waiting in the dark. We typically share a design preview within 48–72 hours of receiving your content, so you can see the direction early and course-correct before the full build.

Step 4: Review and Revisions

When the draft is ready, we share a preview link. You review it on your phone and desktop. You give us feedback — what you love, what needs changing. We build your revisions in and share the updated version.

Every package includes 1–2 rounds of revisions. Clear, specific feedback leads to faster approvals and a better final product.

Step 5: SEO and Technical Setup

Before launch, we complete the full SEO and technical setup:

  • Title tags and meta descriptions for every page
  • LocalBusiness schema markup
  • Google Search Console and Analytics connection
  • Sitemap submission
  • Core Web Vitals check — confirming 90+ on mobile
  • Google Business Profile setup and optimization

Step 6: Launch

We connect your domain, run final checks, and push the site live. You get a walkthrough of how to access your Google Analytics, how to reach us for support, and what to expect over the next 30 days as Google indexes your new site.

Step 7: Post-Launch Support

Every project includes post-launch support — 30 days for Starter, 60 days for Business, 90 days for Professional. During this period, any bugs or technical issues are fixed at no charge. Small content tweaks are also covered.

After the support period, clients can continue with a monthly retainer or reach us for on-demand support billed hourly.
